Slowhand Community and Project Share Site on Track for Late Fall Release!

As mentioned in another post, we’re currently providing suggested video lessons on Facebook for our Mac and PC users, but it’s time for an update on something that’s going to change the way you use Slowhand… the Slowhand Community and Project Share website!

In a nutshell, this allows you to take ANY project built in Slowhand and upload it to the Slowhand Community/Share site for other users to preview and download without ever needing to leave the app.

Here’s a preview of the Homepage. Notice you can search for any project (band name, artist, song, you name it), browse by genre, artist, instrument, or just see what’s new. This is a great way to discover new material and artists and a fantastic way to get canned projects from other users to tweak or treasure as your own!

Below is a screenshot of what happens in a project page. This was uploaded from within the newest dev release of Slowhand (to release to the public once the community is live) directly into the site. All loops are carried over (as well as the original source video) with their zoom, pan, and speed settings applied. Users can preview all the loops, and either learn right on the page or import it into their Slowhand software by simply clicking “Add to My Library”. The next time you open Slowhand, the project will be in your available projects list!

We hope to have solid release dates in the coming weeks, but the bulk of the development (including the ability to use Mac projects on PC and visa-versa) is done and tested.

What would you want to see added to the Slowhand Community/Project Share site?
